UNCOUPLING MEMBRANES
Uncoupling membranes are usually used to uncouple the tiling layer from the substrate and thus reduce the stresses built up between substrate and tile. They can also offer waterproofing and channels for evaporation or heat exchange.

Ditra-Drain
Is a drainage membrane designed for use within thin-bed ceramic and stone tile assemblies in exterior applications. It consists of a studded polyethylene sheet with a laminated polypropylene filter fabric. Ditra-Drain provides uncoupling and drainage for use in a variety of exterior applications, including exterior floors, patios, walkways and balconies. Warrenties applies only if used with Schluter Setting Materials. Rolls of 108 sqft and 269sqft available.

Prova Flex provides crack isolation protection to the substrate. The top netting insures a superior mechanical bond with a cure thinset holding the tile to the Prova Flex while the bottom fabric neutralizes stress caused by multi-directional lateral substrate movement thereby protecting the tiled surface
Protegga Plus+
Durable, lightweight tile underlayment that provides crack isolation protection to the substrate and an easy to install, labour saving alternative to backer board on wood substrates.
Prova Flex Heat
Compatible with all heating cable manufactured brands. Can accommodate wire thickness up to 5mm. Open air channels between membrane and flece layer to allow moisture to dissipate, Ideal for below-grade installations.
