SCHLUTER PROFILES

Because ceramic and stone tiles are inherently brittle, their exposed edges can chip and crack if left unprotected. Transitions between floor surfaces and at thresholds are particularly vulnerable to damage. Schluter systems offers a variety of profiles to provide edge protection and transitioning at thresholds and between adjacent surfaces, resulting in durable, maintenance free tiled coverings. Schluter profiles are available in a variety of shapes, sizes , materials, and finishes.

Schiene

Designed to provide edging for tile coverings. Typical applications include; edge protection where tile is bordered with carpet, at expansion joints, or as a decorative edging for stairs. Sizes go from 3/32", 1 1/6" high.

Radius

Is an extruded profile, with special perforations, for finishing and protecting the edges of curved tile coverings. Sizes go from 1/4" to 1/2" high.

Jolly

Designed to provide edging for tile coverings and features the same design as Schiene. Though Jolly is typically used in wall applications. Sizes range from 1/4" to 1/2".

Deco

Designed to provide decorative lines within tile coverings and edge protection at transitions from tile coverings to other same height surface coverings such wood or carpet. It features a 1/4" wide visible surface. Heights range from 5/16" to 1 3/16".

Reno T

Designed to provide transitions between existing , same height, hard surfaces floor coverings. With available 17/32" to 1"

Reno TK

Designed to protect tile edges and provide a smooth transition from tile coverings to floor coverings at lower elevations, typically carpet. Height goes from 5/16" to 1/2"

Reno V

Designed to protect tile edges and to provide a smooth transition between tile coverings and floor coverings at lower elevations. The profile features a moveable transition arm that allows the profile to adjust to the height of the adjacent floor covering via a ball and socket joint and eliminates trip hazards. Sizes go from 5/16" to 3/4" height.

Reno Ramp K

Designed to protect tile edges and provide a smooth transition between tile coverings and floor coverings at a lower elevation or finished concrete. Heights vary from 1/4" to 3/4" , and lengths from 2" to 3 1/2".

Reno U

Designed to protect tile edges and provide a smooth transition between tile coverings and floor coverings at a lower elevation for finished concrete. The sloped surface eliminates trip hazards and the leading edge of the profile abuts the lower surface covering. Heights go from 1/8" to 3/4" and the lengths from 23/64" to1 15/64" by 8ft long.

Trendline

Is a textured, color coated aluminum applied on only the Jolly, Quadec and Rondec lines.

Rondec

Is a finishing and edge protection profile for tiled edges and outside corners of tiles surfaces. The reveal of the profile forms a symmetrically rounded corner along the surface edge. Sizes go from 1/4" to 1/2".

Quadec

Is a finishing and edge protection profile for tiled edges and outside corners of tiled surfaces. The reveal of the profile forms a square outer corner along the surface edge. Quadec can also be used as an accent within fields of both floors and walls. Size goes from 3/16" to 9/16".

Rondec Step

Is a finishing and edging profile for ceramic tiles and dimension stone installations on countertops and stairs. The top of the profile features a symmetrically rounded edge. Comes in the following tile thicknesses 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2". Face is 1 1/2" and 2 1/4"

Rondec CT

Is a double rail edging profile for countertops to be fitted with a ceramic or dimension stone tile covering. The face of the profile features a recessed section to which field or accent tile is bonded. Sizes come in 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" tile thickness and face 1/2" and 2/4".
